August 29th, 2014, the pairing of Drake and Lil Wayne will co-headline a concert near Washington DC, (Bristow, VA), at the Jiffy Lube Live.  Bristow is less than an hour drive from the heart of DC (depending on traffic).

Drake and Lil Wayne Coming to the Red Rocks Amphitheater

On Wednesday, September 10th, the Drake vs Lil Wayne tour will be coming to the Red Rock Amphitheater near Denver.  This is by far one of the coolest concert venues around.  The outdoor venue is set inside a set of massive boulders and has an amazing view.  I posted some photos below so you can check it out.  If you've never been to the Red Rocks, it is worth the trip to go see it.

Drake and Lil Wayne's tour is a 2-month, 31-city tour starting in Buffalo, NY and ending in Houston, TX.  The tour will come through Colorado and nearby Salt Lake City in September.  See a seating chart here.

Why Did Drake and Lil Wayne Snub Toronto?

It's a well known fact that Drake is from the city of Toronto in Ontario, Canada.  For each of his tours, he always has a concert in Toronto, some times, he performs multiple shows as well. 

This time around, there is no show scheduled for Toronto.  The closest scheduled show to the city of Toronto on the Drake vs Lil Wayne tour is right outside of Buffalo, New York.  The driving time from Toronto to Buffalo is approximately 3 hours depending on routes and traffic.  You can bet that tons of Toronto fans will make the journey to Buffalo to see the show, however, why didn't they just book the concert at one of the many venues in Toronto?

The Buffalo show is the first on the tour schedule and is being held at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Darien Lake, New York.  Form there, the rappers head south to Indiana and do not make any tour stops in Canada at all. The concert is going to be on August 8th at 7:00 pm.

Toronto is one of the most deserving cities of a Drake concert because of the overwhelming support for a singer of their own.  Hopefully for the sake of Toronto, Drake and Lil Wayne decide to add a date in Toronto and possibly more Canadian cities.

Drake and Lil Wayne Concert Coming to Mansfield, MA

Hip-Hop and Rap singers, Drake and Lil Wyane, are teaming up for a tour this summer which will be making a stop in Mansfield, MA at the Xfinity Center.  The tour begins in August on the east coast and is scheduled for the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA on August 25th, 2014 (Monday).  

The Xfinity Center is located at 885 South Main St, Mansfield, MA which is near the city of Boston, MA.  The venue holds over 19,000 fans and the concert is expected to sell out within minutes.  Tickets are going to be available to purchase now until the day of the show.

Lil Wayne and Drake are teaming up for a 2014 summer/fall tour of North America.  The team of Grammy award winning, multi-platinum selling artists will be touring 31 cities this summer on what is being called the "Drake vs Lil Wayne" tour.

The Citi pre-sale starts on June 17th at 10:00 am.  The regular on-sale is scheduled for June 19th at 10:00 am.  Tickets are also available online at drakevslilwaynetickets.frontrowking.com.
